Mark your calendars now for Bay Wind - SMSC’s annual dinghy regatta for young sailors from across the Maritimes on July 19, 20.

SMSC will host the 2025 Sail East Championship and Nova Scotia ILCA Championships at the Bay Wind Regatta this year.

SMSC is a favorite destination for young sailors from across Eastern Canada who come to our Club for Sail East and Bay Wind, and the superb championship racing we offer in the Bay.

This long-running Regatta is a much-loved event on the summer racing circuit, for keen racers, and first-timers alike.

This year’s pre-Regatta Training Clinic on July 18 offers participants the opportunity to tune up their racing skills with the support of experienced and accomplished coaches.

The Training Clinic is included in the regatta registration fees for the 29er, Club 420 (incl. green), Optimist (incl. green) classes.

    The Early Registration Deadline (before fees go up) is July 11. The deadline to register is 12:00 pm (NOON) on Friday, July 18, 2025 for all sailors and coaches. You CANNOT register in person - no exceptions!
